Soft191 Switch Off - A fast and easy way to shut down or reboot your computer. For convenience, the program can be run automatically when Windows starts and it resides in the notification area (system tray) of your desktop and be easily accessed. Double clicking the mouse on the tray icon will perform a windows shut down or restart depending on what you specify (the default is a shut down). Reboot, sleep, shut down, log off, hibernate and more with one click or using timed shut down. You can time a shut down to occur on any day of the week at a given time, or a on specific date, or when there is a specified period of mouse and keyboard inactivity.
You can also create profiles for saving specific shut down configurations for different purposes.
The kinds of shut down / restart available in the program are as follows:

Shut down
Shuts down the system to a point at which it is safe to turn off the power. All file buffers have been flushed to disk, and all running processes have stopped.

Force shut down
Forces processes to terminate. This can cause the applications to lose data. Therefore, you should only use this in an emergency.

Restart (or reboot)
Shuts down the system and then restarts the system.

Log off
Shuts down all processes running in the security context of the process that called the ExitWindowsEx function. Then it logs the user off.

Standby (or sleep)
Reduces the power consumption of your computer by cutting power to hardware components you are not using. Standby can cut power to peripheral devices, the monitor and hard drives, but maintains power to the computer's memory so you don't lose your work.

Hibernate
Saves an image of your desktop with all open files and documents to your hard drive, and then it powers down your computer. When you turn on power, your files and documents are open on your desktop exactly as you left them. Power off Shuts down the system and turns off the power. Th
